and security policies and practices for Jarden Applied Materials websites.
Other Jarden and Shakespeare companies may have their own policies and procedures.
This document describes information we collect about you over the World Wide Web, what may happen
to that information, and how we handle it. If you have any questions about
our Privacy Policy, please contact the company by phone.
- Information We Collect.
A. Within our forms for online user input, we may request your name, address, phone numbers,
email address and other data pertinent to the fulfillment of your requests for catalogs and other information, or orders for merchandise.
B. If you are ordering products on our Secure Servers, we may request additional
information such as billing address, credit card number, type, billing address, and expiry.
C. For certain types of information gathering functions, we may also
request or require other information like geographical identifiers such as lat/lon information,
types of businesses, telephone numbers, email addreses, and website URL's.
- >Our Use of This Information.
We use the information
that we collect about you within our marketing, customer service, and website maintenance
departments to fill your requests for information and catalogs,
to verify your charge and purchasing information and authority, to fill
your orders for products and receive payment for them according to your
instructions, and to electronically deliver information to you that you
have requested, such as answers to technical support questions.
We use your email address, mailing address, fax number, or phone numbers to contact you
regarding products on which you have requested information, or regarding events
shows which relate to your interest. Our authorized
dealers and distributors may be provided this information as needed, to follow up your
requests. Your information may be forwarded to a company within the Jarden Applied Materials
family via email, or by paper or electronic reports.

We store the information we might
reasonably need to follow up your orders and requests. This information may
be stored for a reasonable time in our corporate computer systems.
Our sales managers, webmaster, web hosts, and dealer/distributors
may maintain data indefinitely for future followup by phone, email, or fax, and
for accumulation of statistical data.
- >Who Has Access.
Jarden Applied Materials customarily limits information access to the people who have direct need for
the information, such as for filling orders, sending out catalogs, or answering
your questions. In addition, the webmaster and
website maintenance staff have access to all such information.
- >Our Disclosure of Your Information.
Jarden Applied Materials does not sell or rent any personally identifiable information about
you, nor assemble mail, email, fax or other lists for use by anyone outside our
family of companies. However, for some product lines, we may forward your
information to our authorized dealers and distributors for fulfillment and followup
of your requests for catalogs, information, product purchase, or sales contact.
We do cooperate with all law
enforcement inquires. We can disclose information about you and your use
of our websites to law enforcement or other bona fide government officials (Departments of Defense, Justice,
Commerce, etc.) as we, in our sole judgment, believe to be appropriate.

To safeguard confidential ordering
information like credit card numbers, we employ industry standard measures
such as Secure Socket Layers (SSL) and certified Secure Servers.
Your charge card information is not stored intact on our webservers, and the complete
card number never exists in one place. Nonetheless, "perfect security" does not exist on the Internet.
Although we limit access to your information
and store only the information we might reasonably need, automated
backup systems can result in more permanent storage of the information,
and we therefore cannot guarantee that all of your personally identifiable
information will never be disclosed in ways not described in this Privacy
Policy. For example, we may be forced to disclose information to government
or third parties under certain circumstances, or third parties may unlawfully
intercept web transmissions without our knowledge or permission. Therefore,
although we do our best to use industry standard practices to protect your
privacy, and although we limit the use we make of information you provide
us, we do not promise and you should not expect that your information will
forever remain private.
